  • All bookings are confirmed once a 25% retainer fee is paid along with completing your information to book. This can all be done through my booking platform.

  • I try my best to use everything available to keep in touch! Email or a phone call during normal business hours is my main source of communication. If you are wanting to book a session please fill out my inquiry form through the booking platform and I will be in correspondence with you within 48 hours.

  • Booking your session one month in advance is highly recommended as dates on my calendar fill fairly quickly. I only accepting a limited number of sessions per week.

  • This depends on the time of year, as later in the busy season my editing load will build up more as I shoot multiple portrait sessions every week. You can expect to wait 2-3 weeks after your session to receive all of your photos published to an online gallery.

  • If you need your pictures sooner than my normal turnaround time (2-3 weeks) then a $100 Rush Fee is available at an additional purchase. This will place your session at the top of my pipeline to guarantee you receive your photos at your requested date. Please ask about this during our planning session.

  • You will receive an email with your soft proofing gallery within seven business days after our session - from there, you will choose your favorite images that is included with your package to be edited. Fully edited images are returned within 2-3 weeks.

    Clients who upgrade and purchased their entire gallery will also receive all of their images fully edited within 2-3 weeks.

  • Every image you receive from me is individually edited for colour, contrast, exposure and style. Some images occasionally require a little more finessing for temporary things like blemishes and pimples. Heavy wrinkle removal or body reshaping are not included with my portrait packages and may be available for an additional fee.

  • Number of outfit changes will vary per session. To review my portrait packages and what they offer, click on Book A Session > Choose Session and you will see details of what my packages include.

  • Yes! If you would like more specific shots or a larger variety of candids in your final gallery, it is recommended to purchase extra images or upgrade your package if you have a larger amount of people participating in the portrait session.

    Each package I offer contains a limited amount of fully edited images that are included in your final gallery and chosen by you through a proofing gallery. The amount of extra images available to you will range depending on the package you choose that best fits your needs.

    This ensures that there are plenty of shots to satisfy the entirety of your portrait session and more photos to share or download! You will be able to take advantage of this once your proofing gallery becomes available to view.

  • Reggie is in charge of taking all the portraits for booked sessions. Depending on scheduling and your type of session, I can provide you details about my associate photographer if I am unavailable.

  • I shoot and edit every session in RAW to ensure the maximum amount of exposure and colour information is available for me and my editing team, however I deliver edited and finished high resolution JPEG files and do not include RAW files with my packages. If you are extremely interested in having the RAW files these are available with an additional fee and agreement.

  • My family portrait sessions are allowed up to 6 people. After that it's an additional $75 per person or you can upgrade to my next package.

  • If you have to reschedule your session you have the opportunity to do so by calling me directly at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled date. A $20 rescheduling fee is required the first time you reschedule and $50 is required the second time you reschedule.

    Reggie Smith Photography, LLC reserves the right to reschedule any session. If this occurs, a rescheduling fee will not be charged.

  • Florida weather can be very unpredictable throughout the year, and in some cases can alter our plans for your session. If bad weather does become a factor and prevent us from taking pictures on your scheduled date, we will discuss options like rescheduling for an earlier or later date.

    We like to keep a close eye on the forecast every week and we will reach out to you if we think the weather will be a threat.

    A rescheduling fee will not be charged due to bad weather. If the weather ultimately prevents us from going through with your session, then your retainer fee is refunded.

  • For portrait sessions, client forefeits their session retainer paid to book the session. As previously stated, the retainer can be credited towards a future session if the client calls 72 hours prior to the scheduled date and reschedules at an agreeable date and time.

  • A copyright is owned by the person who creates the work. From the second we snap an image, it legally belongs to me as the photographer. Copyright essentially gives me the exclusive rights to determine how the image should be displayed and distributed. I am also the only one who can make alterations to my work. Since my name is associated with the images, I want to have complete control of how they look to ensure they are in line with my style that you are hiring me for!

    A print release is provided with all of my portrait sessions and in short with this release:

    You CAN:

    + Post them on all forms of social media.

    + Print an unlimited amount of them in any form (photo, canvas, album, etc.).

    + Share them with your family so they can do the same!

    You CANNOT:

    + Edit or alter the images in any way, including cropping and filters.

    + Claim the work as your own.

    + Use them for commercial gain.

  • Yes 100%. I highly encourage you to use my printing services through your online gallery. These professional printing labs are familiar with my high quality photos and will ship the prints right to your doorstep. You also have the choice to get them printed with your preferred printing company.

  • Of course! I know as well as anyone that the main way people like to share their images these days are online. I only ask that when you share my images to please tag my photography page to provide credit. Also if uploading to a service like Instagram I ask that you would not apply filters or crop the carefully crafted edits I have provided for you.

  • I work with assistants on larger sessions to host clients, help carry bags, pose subjects, hold off camera flashes, and generally free me up to focus on shooting and not have to worry about logistics. Typically my assistants are interns wanting to learn more about the photography business.

  • Your session fee covers travel within a 50 mile radius of Port Saint Joe, Florida. Any location outside of these limits will be subject to additional charges based on distance of travel.

  • Although I don't have a hair & makeup artist working with me on site, I do have a vender list of amazing service providers in the area that would be more than willing to help you. Please ask about this during our portrait planning session!
